well, first up, for those who are, i wouldn't say congrats because of several factors:
The pollution scale in Beijing china is 6 or maybe 7 times higher than the standard pollution scale.
Beijing had gained the title of air pollution capital of the world, better wear a mask.
Due to recent Snow Storm, the Chinese government is messed up, and there's taiwan trying to gain power to promote independence during the Olympic games, which may lead to war. just a few days ago, tibet is sounding off their drums as well. better prepare a handgun as well
The Bible among objects prohibited at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, if u are a christian, forget about it.
all the crap causing even participants from all over the world to train in hongkong even japan rather than beijing china.
