i was wondering what you like more 360 or PS3? If you can give a reason cuz i want to buy one and im not sure which one to get

personally i prefer the
360 over the ps3
list of reasons why:
1 loads of games out for it already
2 user friendliness
3 looks cool
4 memory card built in
list of reasons why not to get ps3:
1 glitches and lots of em
2 way too fuckin expensive
3 not to many games
4 games cost way to much
5 uses blue ray technology
6 supposedly not making any new games till 2008
and those are my reasons
360 over the ps3

Sony's the only company that uses Blu-Ray though. Everyone else uses HD-DVD. Even porn. Whatever porn goes with is generally the standard. Look at beta.

Don't get me wrong, I'm still neutral on the whole Blue-Ray vs. HD-DVD thing.

i got a ps3 and its cause my ps2 died after 6 years. now i'm kinda regretting it cause i doesnt have as many games...ans i want a wii

I prefer ps3, I have many reasons but one is that ps3 has a very good fan, as in your ps3 wont overheat or die on you thus you won't slit your wrists lol. Your probably like oh wow who cares about a fan? Gogogo graphics, well go ahead and underestimate a fan because your system will just die on you and you'll become emo and regret it.

Yeah its having backward compatibility issues for some games, but not the ones that I've played with. I don't have ps3 but I play it alot over my friends so I got knowledge of it.

If I had to chose one it would be the 360, just cause its cheaper. But to be completly honest, I'm just gonna stick with my PS2, Xbox, GC, and PC :P

After the Elite was announced, the "PS3 is more expensive" thing doesn't stand up at all. It's only $20 less than the lower end ps3... that is, before you buy the over priced add-ons for the 360. The HD-DVD player alone costs $200 and the Wifi adapter goes for $100, AND you pay for online play. Movie playback, Wifi, and free internet play is built into the PS3 no mater what version you buy.
Yes, you don't have to buy the Elite, but it brings me to question the prices of all the 360s seeing as how hellishly over priced the Elite Hard drive is($170 for 120gb is highway robbery) and that Sony is able to sell a system for not much more, but still include those things(even if they are selling it at a loss). You don't have to buy the add-ons either, but if you really want to put the HDMI cable the Elite comes with to work you'll need the HD-DVD player and unless you like having wires strung around your house, you'll find the Wifi adapter a must.
Also, all but two Hollywood studios support Blu-ray and even M$ says they aren't looking to fully adopt HD-DVD because it doesn't seem to be doing all that great. If Blu-ray actually wins this format war, 360 owners who have got a HD-DVD player are going to be left high and dry. Game wise, saying that the PS3 sucks because it has less games is another dumb statement. The PS3 hasn't even been out for a year, of course the 360 is going to have more games :roll:. As one more last note, the new 360 Elite doesn't even have the new quieter, cooler running chips and hardware, so here pretty soon they are going to be making new systems to include those... it also means the Elite is prone to just as many problems as the other 360s.
now, don't get me wrong, i'm not a Sony Fanboy by a long shot. The ps3 isn't anywhere near perfect. I do plan on owning all the systems, but ever since the Elite was announced, i feel that the PS3 is the better deal money wise and since there are less exclusive games lately, i'll still get the good games. Until they get their act straight with the 360, i wont bother buying one... sorry for the long post, i just felt like getting that out ^^;
