Saw some commercials for this and I was wondering what everyone thought about it, here's the official trailer but it seems that the embed was disabled so here's the link.

Noice, I'm a fan of Burton's works. This movie lookes like it's influenced by mmorpg. Machines vs Humans...I mean stuff toys. Sounds like new concept, It's in 2 week :)

9 seems, at least at first glance, to be a film that will breathe a little life and creativity into the cinematic world. I definitely plan on checkin it out.

Deviantart is having a build your own 9 monster. One of the monsters actually in the movie is like this freaky mad scientist thing.

Well excuse me for not seeing them... >_> I also never noticed that list so I'll have to be using that from now on I guess. I only just recently saw commercials for it so I was thinking it was still pretty fairly new before anyone can post a topic about it I guess I was wrong. But w/e this thread is here now so might as well just let it keep going.

I'm eager to watch it. Looks really cool. And with burton in charge, oh boy.

Saw the commercial for it on TV a few times, liked it, planning to see it.

I'm planning to sneak in to see 9 after watching the gamer movie; so, that way I will only pay for one great movie experience. 2 for 1 sneak deals are great.

I seem to be the only person who doesn't want to see this movie. Odd how often that happens here. :lol:

I saw the trailer for it before Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, and I wasn't wowed at all. It's dolls fighting creatures, so what? I don't know. Maybe I'm missing something.

all humans dissapear or die and the remaining scientist that created the 9 dolls ask them to secure the continuation of life, personally i too found it a bit weird but its also a nice alternative to every movie having humans as survivors.

plus it's by Tim Burton: he made a movie where holidays become awesome, and where undead become more humans (yes that defies logic a bit)

I still can't believe this student film got picked up. It's like someone's dream came true. Lucky Shane, lucky.

The song from the trailer was pretty good so I did a search and found the full song of it, I just thought I'd post this here just in case anyone wanted to listen to it or something.

Back from watching it nano desu

I usually never look forward to any type of movie, hype doesn't really affect me, I see a preview-if I like what I see I am inclined to see the movie, thus I did with this. My reaction, a meh.
It's not that the movie sucked, nor was it a must see then again I am not good at reviewing movies nano desu. I just saw it and sat there, enjoying it thinking a little and at the end I felt like it lacked something, feel free to give ur input.
As from my point of view, I'd definitely like to know more about the setting environment of the movie rather than a small short amount of narrative. By the end things eventually connected with helped, all and all I'd prob see it again nano desu

Now before anyone else can say this I'll say it first *spoilers somewhat*

I'm unsure of what to think about this movie. I like Tim Burton and it does look interesting, but I'll wait until I hear some opinions before deciding to go see it or not.
