A Late Night

Sometimes I can't get to sleep because I am a total insomniac. And sometimes I just don't want to sleep.
This often leads me to compete with myself for staying awake for unnatural lengths of time.
I'm at 42 1/2 hours right now which is shattering my old record of 37 1/2 hrs.My fingers are typing but I can't fully feel it. :? I'm going to sleep immediately after hitting 'submit' and not waking up for three weeks. :lol:
But before I do that I was just wondering, what's the longest you have gone without sleep? Any funny sleep deprievedstories? I got a few but not now cause I think I'm gona die if not asleep in the next 18 seconds.

Update: It's now been 43 hours. I got distracted from sleeping AGAIN. :lol:

The longest i have gone with out sleep is 34 hours and lately i am usually awake at the middle of the night and dont go to bed until 7-8 am in the morning or just stay up the whole day until i finally go to sleep

dont know i really havent cared for it maybe for 2days straight

58 hours, after that I slept for 15 hours straight before waking up... :roll:

70 hours, then after one hell of a nap, I felt like crap for the next 24 hours.

thirty hours or more, my eyes aged terribly , the moist was gone

I guess in this new internet age most youngsters body clock are wrong

26 hours, only because i train and drink and technicly i didn't sleep, i passed out of exhaustedness and tipsyness haha

I'd say about 29 hours. It was back when I was in school and during summer break if I remember right.

The only funny thing that ever happened to me is that for some reason I wanted coffee during the middle of the night so I heated up some water, poured the coffee in the cup, added the sugar to the coffee and then proceeded to pour the milk in the sugar container which had 5 pounds of sugar in it. before I had realized what I was doing I had ruined it all and all I could do is facepalm.

Maybe a little over 24 hrs. That was during Black Friday.

About 12 hours. My parents not let me to wake up too long.

About 34hours, would feel like crap by then. However I stay up for more than 24hours frequently during the examination periods and after to enjoy myself :)

23 hours, that was like in 5th grade at a friends house. I never beat it...

For me...probably around 30 hours although I could probably stay up longer, I just like my sleep.

reason was that a friend of mine made me drink 4l of energy drinky (mixed them in my coke :evil: )

don't try this at home guys it really sucks (had to play some games mainly hentai to overcome this)

around 54 hours

and that's because i forgot about my work and i do it 3 days straight until the deadline

around 40 hours. And in there, I was walking around at the zoo, and swimming, and also fucking, I think. Lots of activity is my point. I passed out on the kitchen floor, and my buddy tried to wake me up to go get a paper, but I was completely unable to move. I could barely focus enough to mumble, "fuck off."

I remember there being another thread about this.... mine was about 63hrs or so and in that thread about everyone had 30+hrs, and a few broke the 5/6 day mark also

Was awaken two days straight on a LAN some time ago. ( Whitout any power drinks / Coffee at all ) And if that wasn't enough...when the LAN ended, me and some friends went out to hit the town, wich later resulted in all of us (5 guys ) fainting of tireness inside a public cinema ( Still can't remember how the fuck i got home )

( The longest time i've been awake because of only one thing probaly was 25 hours playing Zelda: The Twilight Princess my mind set of completing it whitout breaks, ye i even had a friend helping me with the food isues and looking through walkthroughs if i got stuck )
