Well, Hi ^.^
Im somewhat of an artist. And by that i mean that i draw once in a while when im at school. I don't really ever draw at home or anytime besides school, so that's prolly why im not too good yet.
But anyways, from now on i will start postin up some stuff that i will be drawing.
By the way, i am a naruto fan, so allot of my fanart is that so if u dont like it, please, no negative stuff.
Now all my drawings will mostly be pencil only on lined paper and usually sketchy and unfinished, so please bear with me.
... enough talking, here's a few drawings i did. :)
this first one is a sketch that i was doing in my english class.
I have no idea what its supposed to be, but i just kept on going with whateever came to my head. Its very sketchy and unfinished and will prolly never be finished, but i hope u like.
this next one is supposed to be neji, hinata, and rock lee in a different style. I removed rock lee's bowl haircut and changed it, and gave hinata a totally different look, as well as different clothes for everyone.
It is also still a sketch and will never be finished prolly.
this last one is Sexy Jutsu picture (or opposite gender of the characters.) The three in the picture are of Naruto (on the right), Kiba (left) and Neji (middle)
I know it looks nothing like them, but whatever.
This one was somewhat cleaned up, but still sketchy, and will also never be finished.
Also i know kibas eyes are weird, but i just dont feel like fixing them :)

Hmm you tried colouring before?
Careful, the girl on the 1st pic looks like she has no right fist. It just doesnt look right.
The girl in the middle of pic 2, you can align the eyes better. Move the lips to the right a bit more.

i did, and i sucked horribly
i also never tried again because
1) it sucked
2) it takes too much time, and i dont like that :P
3) i would rather draw another picture instead of coloring an old one :D
about the critique, yes i see what you mean the the fist. I kinda noticed ti when i drew it, but didnt see it to stand out that bad but now that im looking back at it, i see what you mean. Its fugly :P
Pic 2, never really noticed that the eyes were off, but now that i look closer, ya they are different allignment. The lips tho, its just the hair thats blocking off the rest so maybe that makes it seem like its too far left. Or mayb even with the hair its suposed to be farther right?
anyways i dont really plan on fixing the drawings cause they just sketches that i dont plan on ever really doing anything with but thats for pointing out whats wrong with em.
OK.... heres another recent drawing i did. i joined the sketch of the week contest in a forum for the first time. so thats why its a sketch and really unfinished!
i did it at skool today, and all i had was my notebook and 0.7 lead mechanical pencil. (i usually draw with 0.5)

Haha yep colouring takes a lot of patience and practice. A normal CG with good effects will probably take a good 6-10 hours...
BUT, it's what makes you stand out from the crowd. Most doujinshi artists don't even bother to do freakin' nice covers. They only do base colours and two or more shades for each part..... which takes a relatively small time to colour.
Sometimes fixing old stuff may lead you to find out about new stuff. You don't necessarily need to draw More to learn More. You don't necessarily need to draw More to improve More.
Observation is key.

CG is tedious at first T_T
And then it's easy to get lazy and skip over details like reflected light and some other things.

ya, coloring would definitely be awesome
currently though i just don't really have much time to practice. As i said i draw in class usually, and i don't really draw much out of class cause i work most of the time.
I would really love to learn if i ever get some free-time, but right now i don't think its really possible.
