Pure fuckin' magic, from start to finish. Nuff' said.

The closest I've heard to a perfect album is Princess Ghibli, but there are a lot that are top-notch. These two come to mind:

Metric - Grow Up and Blow Away

Violator by Depeche Mode and Kyuusai no Gihou by Susumu Hirasawa.

Pink Floyd - The Wall and The Who's Tommy.

Because every song tells a diferent part of the continuos stories.

At the Drive-In - Vaya EP
(Usually overlooked since it's between the slick production RoC and their older raw emo-core punk stuff. Basically a good sampler of their work since it has aggressive, experimental, and ends with such an emotional song.)

(abstract philosophical hip-hop at its best)


Omar Rodríguez-López - Old Money
(Still my favorite of his solo albums and the ending song just exemplifies the awesomness of the entire album)

I only actually have 3, a whole lot cut it really close though.

Aquabats - HI-FIVE SOUP


Arcade Fire - The Suburbs (I suggest watching their short film that they have. Has most of the songs and a nice story!)

They're the masters of underground Hip-hop. Never gets old.

Three is the magic number.
