While I don't really believe in astral projection per se, I've had couple of instances of foresight, or perhaps intuition if you will. There is a theory that humans work on the concious level when awake but that an unconcious state functions simultaneously as well. The unconcious state, which I define, is a state where past experiences and memories are being processed at a relatively low-biological power. Nothing is being made sense except in the concious state where we are taking in realtime experience and relating to the past. But sometimes the firing of synapses in the unconcious state makes a direct connection to the concious state due to similar nature (or in scientific terms ion charge). So we come away with instances and cases where sometimes the two states merge and we call that "gut feeling", "intuition", "deja vu", or even "predictions" or "insight/foresight".
I've experienced certain cases where I miss something, or know that something might happen - notice I say it's not a fact. It is only later until that merged-concious thought becomes verified. While I don't want to be presumptious in calling it "foresight", it could be a form of psionics in the sense that it is dealing with higher functions of the mind, that unforaged 90% of unused brain potential. I've experienced a fair share of these cases, not a lot, but over my lifetime, and especially during my teen and late-teen years.

knowing what a person would do is more like foresight .... it ain't that hard to master ....

Astral projection is a form of OOBE (out of body experience). Astral projection is not that dangerous. It is because that your physical body and astral body can separated, but is still joined by a silver cord (ether). If this cord snaps, you're dead. But it RARELY happens. Astral projection can be done by anyone aided by a guide who knows how to 'detach' one's astral body from the physical body. It can be triggered by traumatic events such as extreme emotions/breakdown, accidents and others.
Another is remote viewing, in which the person is conscious but his vision is in another place, viewing it.
Foresight can also be considered as Claircognizance.
Third eye is a part of sixth sense, or also known as ESP (extra sensory perception)
