Amoxicillin Side Effects FTW :D

Hello all,

Recently I caught a "non-European" fungal lung infection from a bunch of rugs I've been working with at my part time job.

I've been prescribed Amoxicillin, and I MIGHT have had a few side effects.

I "woke up" at work today, not realising how I had got here
I have jaundice (yellow eyes)
I've been vomiting & coughing up blood
I'm delirious, I said that I'd put a hippo in the pantry if the onion it didn't fit (to my boss) and I was typing random crap in IRC.
I've still got a fever due to I think taking an overdose when my brain wasn't really awake (I was in so much pain last night that I didn't sleep at all)
I've just sleep walked / brain switched off (to work)

Having just had my brain wake up now I've no idea how or when I got here. This is kind of scary / awesome.

Well, I recently finished off a bottle of Amoxicillin that I was prescribed due to a tooth infection, and I haven't had any side effects, so maybe it's not the medicine's fault. Then again, maybe it's just slow-acting for me.

Update:

OK... A samosa and a kebab was not the best choice of something to eat for my first meal. Seeing it in reverse was rather disturbing :/

My brother just found out he's allergic to Amoxicillin. Serious rashes all over the body ftw.

Are you sure you got that from a doctor and not your local drug dealer?

Yeah, I've taken amoxycillin for two tooth infections and a chest infection before, no problems. Get well soon anyway, oh boat-dwelling one.
