Anime and American T.V.

seems like it is going to die and it is really sad outside of adult swim and ani-mondays on scify on basic cable there is nothing. i almost cried when i found out toonami is gone and seeing how adult swim at one point was almost all anime and now there is almost none i just want to know what is happening it feels like my childhood is gone. i mean toonami and adult swim showed me anime and it is sad to see them go. sorry i left out anime unleashed but that on was the first to go stupid g4 took tech t.v. and g4 isnt even about video games anymore.

I grew up on Toonami and [AS]. Needs more anime on television.

Well im not american but in my country the channels with animes on their list are just suck... the voice acting is bullshit and its over censored... if there would be more less anime on tv in my country i would be the happiest man in the world cuz what they do is just an insult for real anime fans...

oh no im not saying that the dubbs are good and the editing on naruto was so bad but as a kid i didnt really notice that and the fact that anime isnt on t.v. like it once was means people just dont appreciate anime as much ,but adult swim animes havnt had to many bad dubbs

Meh I gave up on watching anime on tv mainly because I couldn't give myself any time to watch the shows when they aired so now I just rather watch all my anime on my computer. Also there aren't that many dubbed animes that are actually good, by far the ones that are in japanese with english subs are a hell of alot better.

As you have, without doubt, noticed, I wisely never said anything about reposts being illegal.
I was simply pointing the user to an equivalent thread where he might find many inspiring answers to his question.

Anime isn't dieing in the U.S. it's just that some people should learn not to mess with everything that comes out of Japan.

Sadly, I have no idea on the situation in my native country cause I don't live there. But what is this about no more TOONAMI!? where are kids going to watch reruns of Dragon Ball Z!?
