Animorphs

So, a complete shot in the dark, but does anyone remember Animorphs? Those books that were out when I was in 5-6th grade where these kids could turn into animals and were fighting against a semi-body snatching slug-like alien race called yerks?

Saibot reminded me of it cause there was a kid who was named Tobias who stayed in hawk form too long and got stuck like it permanently.

I remember those books!

I never got into them though cause I thought it was weird. They had a television show about that too, right? I remember seeing the show like once or twice..

dude i SO remember those, yea i was in grade school (3-6) when they came out, my friend got me hooked on it, but since we went to different middle schools i slowly stopped reading them, idk how far it went but i stayed with pretty long i think? in fact one reason i stopped reading them was probably that my 7th grade history/english teacher read them too, o.O i so didn't wanna be know as the guy who read the same books as that bitch lol

Yeah, I remember them. Never read them though. I wasn't into reading and I thought the concept of the books was dumb.

Never cared for the show, never read the books.

Well the books help past the time, especially since our group just hated school, we lived in our own little world, then again we were also grade schoolers (need i say more) one of my friends really was obsessed with the books, but then again he had some artistic talent so he like thinking what some of the alien things looked like so he'd draw em' for fun, he even had us come over to his house to watch the premiere of the tv series, i was dissapointend, i am glad i didn't have cable after that night.

I remember them in fact I have a few some where. but heres another question does anyone remember the show?

This is the first novel series that I have read, I've read till the Trilogy where a new kid called David joined the group. I really like when they have to crack a pentagon code (book cover was Jake changing into a Rhino)

About the show I only watched the first episodes.

Oh...This is nostalgic, I even made my own Animorphs Club with my friends, imagining what kind of animal your morphing. Ah Good times...Good Times....

I used to read that stuff when I was a kid. My primary school library had a lot of copies of those books. I guess they were pretty popular.

I have read all of them when i was in grade school I was obsessed with them but now i don't remember the story at all.

I've all of them minus the two last ones, and they never get reedited in France so I never had a chance to know the end of the story, totally depressing.

I think I read the first 15 books or so...eventually I had to stop buying them because I couldn't afford it. The last one I read was the "Hork-Bajir Chronicles". I watched some of the show episodes, but I have to say I enjoyed the books a lot more.

i tolerated the show, though nothing i'd watch continuosly, but hte books were so damn boring '>.>...

Animorphs, eh? Been awhile since I've heard somebody mention that.

Can't find the last book! I still have some of them here in my mini-library but not all of them.

btw, the Show sucked. I liked it better in the book

Never read em. I was an illiterate oriental kid who liked reading Harry Potter.

Always was interested of the cover but thats about it.

i actually only saw 1 ep of the show but from vid ppl put up i realized this (while i was watching an X-men movie) Jake is Iceman LOL
