[Another Collection of Thoughts]

I just got back from a three day 'vacation' that was cut short, due to my rampaging allergies and their constant assault on my white ass [metaphorical]. Seems to me the more we expose ourselves to that which we are allergic to, we build tolerance, but that same tolerance seems to diminish if we do not continue to expose ourselves to the allergens in question. Last summer I was fine. This year I'm beginning to remember why I was once suicidal in my late teens. Allergies affect people in different ways, and in different levels of intensity. Mine made me want to die, before my body built a resistance. But enough of that, moving on...

...I hung out with two people I don't see much these days, two that I spent my teens with. Many drinks were consumed, many memories recollected, and some pizzas and subs were demolished for the sake of satisfying our hunger. We had a large cooler outside, filled with ice, and I decided the hell with it, sticking some 2 Liters into it to chill. I had forgotten just how cold you can get your drinks inside of a cooler, if the conditions are just right. Steam poured from the 2 Liter when I opened it hours later. I remember fetching a beer for a distant relative once, remember reaching into the cooler and, after five minutes, realized my hand was burning. It had only been submerged in the icy water for thirty seconds or so, but that was enough to give me some kind of cold burn, or something similar. My hand, dry, had burned for several minutes from the sheer frigid temperatures the cooler had reached inside its' plastic walls.

Back to the present. One of the two I spent much time recalling memories and laughing has Muscular Dystrophy. I did not know how serious this condition was when I had first met him, so many years ago. Then, as time went on, I realized the severity. Muscular Dystrophy is the gradual deterioration of muscle tissue. Most of the time, doctors do not notice it until the day comes that your child's leg muscles are no longer strong enough to support his body, and then they fall over, not able to stand again. Now, all these years later, I noticed something that I couldn't ignore or forget. He now uses one of his hands to support the other arm when reaching for things. Fate is cruel. This man, he is the funniest person I have ever known. Such is life. He used to get his arms above his head a little; now he cannot seem to flip a lamp switch without supporting the arm with the other. I must make a mental note to spend more time with him, and watch as his child, going on 2 years old, grows. There is always time to make new memories, until someone passes. I know this fact well.

Now, I am back home, and am heavily addicted to the latest installment of Paper Mario, titled Super Paper Mario. I have almost finished it, doing one huge stint over the past 16 hours. Sadhappy [that's his screename here] is on his way at this very moment in time to drag me to a used video game store. I love going to them, the ones that have really old games that is, but at the moment I do not want to spend the remaining cash I have, since I need to buy more food. Alas, I must resist! Fight the power of the games as they cast their sympathetic gaze to me!

The AfroSamurai AMV has not made any more progress, due to my mini-vacation and my recent addiction to SPM, but alas, work shall resume on it soon, I think. At any rate, Sadhappy should be here any moment. Later Fakku. -[AT9]

[Your lack of intelligent remarks do not harm me, my racist fellow. For starters, I am quite aware it isn't steam. I used the word to describe it, so that everyone followed. Telling me those games suck is not only a horrible dis, it also doesn't make me want to stop playing them any less. I am shocked at how horrible your grammer is, and how bad your insults are. If you're going to go around attempting to make others angry or feel bad, you should follow Waar's argument posts closely, for the man at least understands the idea of structure and order. Oh, and calling me a nigger made me chuckle. Thou hast brought me laughter]

I am often forgetful of how few people can actually read books, here at Fakku. Also, what I typed was not that much. The average adult can read an entire page of writing in one minute, so how long would it have taken to read my post? If you spend your life gauging writing by how big it looks, instead of reading it to test, you probably wont' end up reading something as small as this post itself. And finally, to those of you that remarked 'didn't read' or something similar, well, why post then? To demonstrate that I write too much? Nay, you simply read too little, or can't read much at all. Thank you for reminding me how few users on Fakku are actually cool. There's less than 20 that I have met, which is pretty sad considering the massive amount of registered users this site boasts. I know there are dozens more that actually read, write and form proper sentences, I just haven't met any of them. Well, I'm outta here for a while. My will to post has gone down another few notches]
