It's like giant squid shows. You sit and nothing happens, then suddenly there's something cool and it cuts to commercial. Then it comes back on and you find out it was something totally gay.

Tales from the Darkside is an anthology show that has a lot of good episodes.
People say that Fringe is really good, but I've never watched it, so I don't know. Seems too much like a ripoff of X-Files.
Beyond Belief: Fact of Fiction is also excellent. Stories are told, some of which are completely untrue and some that are based on true stories.

Theres Ghost Hunters: the best paranormal researchers out there in my oppinion
Also Ghost Adventures: a few jackoffs make fools of themselves on TV in haunted places as they try to be professional like Ghost Hunters

Destination Truth is a fun show. They don't necessarily hunt ghosts, but they do look for weird things, and sometimes, creepy shit happens to them. There's an episode where they investigate an island of supposedly haunted dolls that's really good. Also, you don't have to take anything seriously because the host makes a ton of jokes. Good to watch if you want a laugh.

Yeah, they rarely get anything solid, but that's why a lot of people like them. Makes them seem more credible. And while that is true, it makes for a very boring show, for me, at least.

Ghost Hunters has actually gotten some evidence but what makes them hit or miss with viewers is that they also try to disprove their own (and other peoples) evidence by recreating pictures and finding reasonable excuses for why certain things happen, the good part of the show's pro-ghost evidence is that it is almost always scientific (EMF's and EVP) the scariest part of some of their evidence is the thermal cam where they have found silouetes that were immeadiatly shown NOT to be one of the cast or even a reflection of a cast member in something.

Ghost Hunters is really good because of how scientific it gets. The fact that I have heard them say that maybe two places are haunted is good. Show gets really boring when all you get is three EVPs for an entire hour of show.
Ghost Adventures is really bad. The main guy (Zak, I think) does not shut up, and then yells at everyone to shut up when they hear something, and then begins to yell at the voices like an idiot.
Destination Truth is just like Ghost Hunters, just not for ghosts alone. The guy tends to lean towards his gut feelings more, and I think that makes for a better show. I love how whenever they go out of the country, he has to namedrop Orbitz every fucking time.
