This is looking promising.

We're still screwing with the plot. Any suggestions would be nice.

A final fantasy based world with magic and beasties, zombies and skeletons. The classic monsters and what not. A place to duel would be really nice, and a place to hangout like a hideout or somthing. For a story line, I would think... a war between Shadow and Light realms begins to emerge. There are people who can choose to be shadow or light beings, and there can be a master of both. I'm comming up with this just off the top of my head so it might be a little stupid.

Right now, we thought up something like this:

It's the turn of a technological revolution. Humans are slowly becoming the dominant species. The Empire, the united front of all human life, is pushing to eradicate any and all species standing in the way of their global conquest. The remaining intelligent species have been forced to seek out a life of secrecy on the fringes of the world. Niffleheim, the central and final home of these species, is on constant watch for the marching forces of the empire. The emperor is looking for the "Hell Gate"--a power so monstrous, that with it, he could easily destroy Niffleheim and all of the monsters residing within it. The few monsters with enough strength and willpower to fight the empire have formed the Union, an organization determined to stop the empire and return balance to the world of Midgard. There are humans who think that the empire's conquest is too ambitious, and have rebelled against it and the emperor, becoming outcasts in their own species. These rebels seek to join the Union in its journey to stop the emperor.

Find the Hell Gate, fight back the empire, save the world.

Lets be more general i'll suggest a world with magic and technology of course it will be in the advance state where a lot of possibilities can happen then things will get interesting...
