April Fools'

My calendar, like most, says what days are holidays. On December 25th, it says "Christmas," for instance. Well, today, on April 1st, my calendar says nothing. It's not a normal day.



Anyways, this is the topic for listing what sort of silly April Fools' things we see today. I'll start:

When I turned my TV off last night, I left it on Cartoon Network. This morning, when I woke up, I turned my TV on, expecting to see the sluttily-dressed girls from Bakugan. Instead, I saw Cow and Chicken. That's CN's April Fools' thing - Cow and Chicken.



Fuck you, Cartoon Network. I hate that fucking show.

I'm not all that much of a fan of the show, but I won a stuff Cow in one of those crane games a long fucking time ago and after time it turned into an idol for this fictional cult I created.

When I was 7, I peed in a ginger ale bottle and left it in the refrigerator for April Fool's day. It was full of lawls.

a few years ago i do a simple thing. i ran gum drops under water to wash off the sugar, then rolled them in salt. gave 'em to everyone :twisted:

Huh. I still do that old one from my childhood: Oral White in Oreos.

I have gotten more clever with it, recently. I scrape out a rectangle of cream from an oreo, apply toothpaste, and reseal.

I only boobytrap half of the ones I buy nowadays. Keeps my friends on their toes.

Either pot or alcoholism.

Well, mother Nature pulled off a nice AP on me. It was +20 deg Celsius during the day and I was like 'fuck yeah - spring!'...

... it's -4 now.

That show along with Dexter's Lab, Powerpuff Girls and Johnny Bravo were my entire childhood.

In college, my roommate did something very...unorthodox. He learned of my fear for revenants--or rather, the undead, a few weeks prior to April Fools.

He went so far out of his way, even taking out a loan for the damage that would soon follow, to get me. He paid a couple of friends, dressed them, painted them, and trained them to act and sound like zombies. He then told them to wait for me to wake up early in the morning.

They broke down the door savagely and limped towards me. In a panic, I ran and jumped out the first floor window to escape. I was on campus...naked. My friend and many, many people shouted "April Fools!" as they if they were waiting for me to show up. My friend later replaced the top of my deodorant with cream cheese.

I suddenly have the urge to find him and dig a scalpel into his ear.

It didn't occur to you to beat em up with your computer as they broke down into your room? XD

How about putting headphones on, logging into Left4Dead, and pulling out an automatic shotgun? :D

What part of "I'm scared of zombies" do you not understand? I panicked. Since I was half-asleep, I thought that they were real...almost coughed up a lung when they woke me up.

Yeah I saw it this morning and I was like "Are you kidding me".I would've rather they played a marathon of Johnny Bravo.

Johnny Bravo was funny. I remember watching that years back. I never liked cow and chicken, it wasn't too enjoyable for me. I rather see Ed Edd and Eddy instead of that.
