I think this a legitimate concern, and that we should put all of our time, effort, and money into the study of prevention and/or eradication of massive zombie hordes. As we have seen in countless movies, there are varying levels of zombie intelligence and motor skills. Depending on these variables, zombies need to be dealt with in various manners. Determining the effects and affects of all these different types of zombies would be well suited for a government program. They have the tools and knowledge necessary to create zombies, and it would be a good idea to create live tests and false flag operations to study the after math of an apocalypse.

Well at least scientists are actually debating what would happen if a zombie outbreak did occur hopefully it would help to build some scenarios if something of this sort does occur.

That quote is wrong, and Prof. Fergie should feel bad for saying it. I have seen many a zombie keep going after it has lost it's head. The spinal area is also of major concern, as it can still bumble around and fuck shit up if not disposed of more properly. I am a proponent of destroying the head and spinal cord at the shoulders if time allows, and then disposing of in a fire. Also, always stay up wind.

It is obvious that they have not looked into all avenues of research and should be spending more money and time into learning about every possible scenario.
