Bondage

It's a fetish, and one you'll never understand my friend, like I don't like lolis. But tell me, wouldn't you find it erotic to tie up someone you love, and she can do nothing but to accept your love in an unconditional way? Part of bondage's charm is that the person bound has let go of all inhibitions and has submitted to whatever pleasure or pain that the person who bound him/her will subject him/her to. In my case, if I were to tie a girl up, I'd find it highly erotic to subject her to all sorts of pleasuring and teasing while she can do nothing but accept it all, under her restraints and gag. Others might be into pain, but I like BDSM only for the the equipment the genre uses, not the pain/torture aspect. I'm a romantic, and I think that bondage is a great epitome of what love should be.

So its kind of a trust thing, like, when you do it, you know your partner trusts you unconditionally with their body?

@MidgarKonotsu: Exactly. In bondage, trust is key. Without it, I don't care if you're the master of rope-tying, your partner won't submit to you if she feels uncomfortable, skeptical, or plain frightened by the concept of losing one's freedom. In this respect, I find bondage to be an ideal form of romance, and the term "love bondage" aptly names it.

For people who don't quite know how widespread bondage/BDSM is, take a shot and search the web. You'll find quite a bit, and Japan was like the mother of all bondage. In fact, many old TV shows in Japan had bondage in it all the time.

I guess that makes sense, and I can see why people like it. I might have to try it sometime.
