Business is anime, anime is business

As we already know if we talk about anime we talk about business too
sometimes I piss off when my favourite anime shows cancelled because low rating or forced to cut-down (like what happened in original gundam, but now gundam is kick-ass)any opinions about this?

That sort of thing is just what happens in television.
There have been a few shows I liked in the US that apparently not enough other people did, and got canceled or something.

In anime... Well, I would have liked it if there was more to the Tenjou Tenge anime, but I don't know if ratings or anything was the reason for that. But that seems to be fairly common, and anime adaption of a manga that stops with the first story arc or something.

i don't like english dub adult swim anime shows so i always download/steam watch my anime

The Tenjou Tenge thing got me thinking.. I thought a lot of people really really loved that one..We have tons of merchandise out here in BC for it too. I didn't even know it was cancled or had ended I thought it was doing well!..Wow I'm out of the loop. That makes me sad ;_; I liked the little bit I got to see.

Also on a side note if it wasn't for how crappy GetBackers gets as the manga goes on I would have loved to have seen another season of the anime adaption.

Yeah, I loved GetBackers anime, too. One of my all time favorites.. although i couldn't read the manga because it was SO filled. I prefer mangas that are more empty and with less details. I don't like reading all the spell details or whatever the manga has to explain to the reader when it's too long, it's like reading an essay. i'd rather read a literature to do that :P more eye candy the more enjoyable manga!
On Tenjo Tenge's note.. I can't imagine showing the true awesomeness of the series without being so naughty and sexually abusing.

Well, the end of Tenjou Tenge anime isn't really an end, is it? Since I watched it on DVD, I actually had to go online to make sure I wasn't getting cheated or something because of how oddly it ended. It didn't wrap up or anything.
And I haven't read the Manga, although I've been meaning to get around to it.
I've also been meaning to read the GetBackers manga, because I liked the anime so much. And GetBackers didn't necessarily conclude the overall story, obviously, but at least it did close enough that you didn't feel ripped off.

meh, that's why i hate dubbed anime

and sometimes, they keep making the sequel of the same anime title just to sale their popularity. I wish they keep the fans of the anime on their mind ~_________~

I have to agree...It's sad how the higher-ups has the power to make their workers do the anime only to milk out money from fans

sounds like any other business in the world
consumers can only QQ when the business has control of their interest
they work their ass off making good quality tho! i support them in any way i can

These days the dubbing of an anime can have an affect on the original if it's still running, I guess. To the extent that how the English-speaking world likes it will effect the business.

But we were really talking about anime as it is affected by the original audience. For something to get dubbed, it pretty much has to be liked by the original audience for anyone to notice it enough to dub, or even really sub it.
