Anyways, am I the only one who laughed at the comic because of how pathetic the artist is? The comic is pretty much saying, "I'll never have a kid of my own. All I can do is draw a girl and then draw her as she ages. That's the best I can do." That's why the artist looks so sad in the last panel.

There was a thread on 4chan a while ago, and so that's what I gathered. I think the artist probably posts under anonymous, but that's the nickname people label the style with; the art is likely all over the chans too, but I think it started on plus4.

Agreed. Although I didn't laugh. I found it to be very endearing, but I can easily see how it's kind of funny in a depressing manner.

And here I thought it was kind of sad because of the guy who can't have a child then decided to channel it by just drawing one. :<

... you people take it in a literal sense far too much... where does it say the fictional character (artist) cant have kids? Its probably trying to express the feeling that an artists work is like his child and that children are works of art... not that I agree with that sentiment but you people are ridiculous.

It's like drawing yourself drawing something. It's like, I wish that I wish that my drawings came to life and they have because I drew it in this little piece of paper that is my wish.

It's kind of like deciphering other artists... We give them all these emotions and thoughts and then when we actually talk to the artist, they reply with "Oh... I was just bored... Drew it while I was watchin' porn!"

Confusing, who'are you. The artist or the girl. Or it's the title.
