Choose Your Favorite Mecha Squads

GAH! I would choose the Slaughter Dagger too because of their multi-role capabilities it would be easy to dominate the battlefield with a squad of those so i'll just have to settle with a squad of Gundam F91.



A high performance suit that was put into limited mass production. Armed with a beam launcher, beam rifle, beam sabers, a beam shield and the variable speed beam rifle, or "VSBR" for short, which was already successfully tested on the F90V Gundam F90 VSBR Type. Rather than being a hand-carried weapon powered by an energy cap or e-pac, the VSBR was mounted on the mobile suit itself and powered directly by its reactor. The pilot could adjust the speed at which the mega particles used in the beam fire were accelerated. Slower-speed particles produced a wider beam that delivered more raw damage, and higher-speed particles created a more tightly focused, penetrating beam. Thus, the F91's pilot could choose to deliver beam damage on a wider area or focused, high-speed shots to penetrate thick armor or even beam shields.

Er...I think the point is to choose MP units only, not unique ones...so that probably means that custom MP units are out. One choice would be the unheard of Wing Gundam Seraphim, which is essentially an MP version of Wing Zero...with a better Zero System. My next choice would be the Daughtress Neo. There's just something about its simplicity of a wired weapon that is both a Beam Cutter and Beam Gun. If I wanted to guarantee victory and I had a unit of NewTypes...the Gundam X and its G-Bits and also the MP Qubeleys.

EDIT: Gah, I originally went with the F-91, but after listing so many units, I decided to remove it... Still...Gundam X is technically an MP Gundam and just look at the damage one is capable of. Now, think about what an army of Gundam Xs with their G-Bits can do. Simply put, you can say good-bye to the colonies.

i have to agree with you on this one, i wanted to avoid the Gundam X because im really not into weapons of mass destruction but hey whatever wins the war right?

forgot about the Quebely MP type, those suits would really shine with newtype pilots too, good pick.

They have to be MP units like Strike Dagers or Zakus. No custom units.

If that's the case, why pick Destroy Gundam? That's even more of a limited production Gundam/MA. Off the top of my head, I remember about 7 being made. On the other hand, there's about 40 or more Gundam F-91s. I'd expect something like the Neo Gundam to be excluded, since only two were made, not 40. If Gundam X wasn't an MP Gundam, then I would have stuck with the Gundam F-91. It's a pity that only Seabook Arno/Kincaide Nau was the only one to fully utilize its capabilities. Hell, he was even able to BLOCK a VSBR shot...which is an amazing feat considering the power of the VSBRs is similar to a Twin Buster Rifle.

On another note, if I was to stay completely away from Gundams, I have a few options:

Lol. The Re-GZ was intended for mass production, but never actually was... Well, only a few were made, so... xD

Ok seems like some people are taking more than one units which makes me kinda sad since some good one are pretty much taken. Good thing I still have the GM Sniper 2. Its one of the coolest looking MS and performance nearly as good as the Gundam. I prefer the white Dingo colour scheme for my GM Sniper squad, I really like the White Dingo's colour scheme.

Well, not all of them are taken. As for the GM Sniper II Custom, definitely a good choice. It was my favorite unit to use when playing Mobile Suit Gundam: The Lost War Chronicles. On another note, here's a Gundam to consider:



Zeta Plus A1

It's a mass-produced Zeta Gundam with two beam cannons at the waist, though no Hyper Mega Launcher. This is supposedly the Zeta Gundam that Amuro piloted, though there is that one from Gundam Evolve...

Just to go entirely off track of Gundam and all its ilk, I'll go with the VF-25 Messiah. Sleek, awesome, 3 in 1 action, and just plain sexy. Especially love gerwalk mode.





With a good size squad of this with Armored modules attached.... can you say missile spam?
