Reflecting, I think asking for a discussion in an upload thread is a semi-bad idea.

So: Do we listen to anything special on Christmas/during the season?


I formatted my MP3 (my file manipulation program crashed whilst fucking with it), and it is now 100% pine-smelling, egg nog oozing, goodwill demanding, awesome.

This will probably be the only "Christmas" related song I will hear. I tend not to get into the Christmas spirit.

I'm sick to death of Christmas music. It just relies on repetition and familiarity instead of challenging musicians to produce interesting new music. At this point it's a cliche to even make this complaint, but right now the only thing Christmas reminds me of is mass hysteria. Everybody is supposed to sing the exact same songs, say the exact same catch phrases, buy the same products, and just generally do whatever everybody else is doing. Again, it's a cliched complaint, but I choose not to participate because it rubs me the wrong way.
