Anyone else find it extremely odd that this game was brought up 5 years after the game's release. It wouldn't have even gotten the attention if it wasn't for Amazon banning the sales of Rapelay that hit up a firestorm of concerned parents and activist groups.

It's odd that people attribute this fetishism to such acts in reality.
These people just need counciling, and it should be better emphasized, rather than putting known fetishists' heads on poles and chastising the anonymous.
Most of these people are trauma survivors who have the capacity to be harmless, normal, human beings instead of ticking time bombs.
The same goes with violence in video games. It is more an outlet than a muse.
If you look at the amount of violent crime (gross numbers) than it has gone up.
However, the population has also grown, and the same statistic suggests there is a smaller crime per person ratio since the arrival of modern gaming.
These people just need counciling, and it should be better emphasized, rather than putting known fetishists' heads on poles and chastising the anonymous.

I think people think that these kinda games amplify the crime rate, well in my opinion it's a reverse of it. After I play this I know rape is bad, and we can't change them into our sex slaves.
And what's with assuming Manaka's age is under 14, kids grew slower every year...

As for the game itself, I haven't played it before, nor do I really want to (not my thing), but to go this far without understanding the cultural differences and such... while I can't blame the guy, I still facepalmed.
