Seriously, what the hell? It's Halloween, dress up and get free candy. How much more awesome could it get? But these past years I have been greatly disappointed.

So I just got back from trick or treating, even though I'm way too old to go out but I don't care it's free candy. The amount of people with their lights off or just not answering their door was absurd. I went around my condo complex and I'd have to say about 60% of the lights were off. One time someone turned their light off as I was walking up to the door. I was infuriated. One guy made of for some people though. He had the sickest decorations, a fog machine, etc and he had the hugest bucket of candy I've ever seen in all my years and he goes, "Take two huge handfuls. That wasn't big enough. And yes, it does go down to the bottom." He made my Halloween.

It's also sad to see how little people are going out. There were times where my girlfriend and I were the only ones on the street. It's a damn condo complex, there should be tons of people out. FREE CANDY FOR DRESSING UP, IT'S THAT SIMPLE. And then the kids I did see out were so ungrateful. You say trick or treat, take one, and say thank you. You don't walk up grab a handful and leave. Who taught these kids about Halloween?

I'm gonna have to bring Halloween back, I'll start giving out sick amounts of candy so kids'll be excited to come to my house every year. Halloween rules.

tl;dr : HALLOWEEN IS AWESOME. PEOPLE SUCK. I dressed up as laundry.

I hate kids and it's a fake holiday, but I do believe in giving out candy.
But really just because it's small price to pay to keep your house off the list of targets for yon local wipersnapers.

there was this black kid. he just took candy from my neighbor.
i told him to say thank you but he got mad at me.
he then said "shut yo' bitch ass up, you cant tell me what to do!"
i got kind of angry and kicked him in the back when he was running out to the next house.
his candy spilled everywhere! and i think he was going to cry.
i ran away since i was afraid his mom would come.

I would've went, if I actually wanted to waste an hour getting candy when I could spend 5 minutes and buy it.

Besides, I don't want to get the cops called on me because some pale asian in costume is running around door to door asking for candy.

I think illumi has a point. We are adults here, if we want free candy we can go out and steal it much more quickly than panhandling for it.

I, personally, dislike Holloween. It used to be fun, when we celebrated All Hallows Eve and there was all that shit with the chanting, candles in windows, and prayer rods stuck near houses to ward off bad luck.

Nowadays, Holloween is just a trip to the dentist in the making.

With that said, though,

There are some fun aspects.

Like seeing a cadre of Stormtroopers raiding a house as I was walking around.

Did anyone try using an air soft gun on trick-or-treaters?
I am seriously doing that next year. Just to the kids walking around with pillow bags expecting some free candy. If you want, show some efforts brats.

Either that or rocks. But rocks leave too much of a mark.

My brother dressed up though. He went as hide from X Japan, although that was more of a concert thing than anything else.

That's not even half of it. I'm still cleaning the bodies off of my porch.
