Computer problem

My computer dosen't turn on any more ever since I turned it off by holding in the power button (at the front) its a windows xp. If anyone has any ideas on how to fix it that would be a great help.

have you checked the Beep code at the start... whats it saying.

well if it doesn't turn at all maybe the power supply died? Holding in the power button on the front shouldn't do that though. At most it might corrupt your version of windows and display "operating system not found" or something.

Check to see if there's a switch in the back with a 0 or | on it. If it's set to 0, switch it to |.
