Computer problem auto shutdown

My laptop will shutdown if it is overheating for to long as a fail safe if the fan isn't working or air can't come through the vent. Also make sure you don't have it set to restart and look for updates either.

Turns out that was the problem, I solved it myself with a screw driver and a cotton stick (I dont have the tools g-money said and Im a cheapskate x_x), dug out the blobs of dust stuck on the fan. Started my laptop, and found out the usual "brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr" sound whenever my laptop is on has dissapear...lolololYour fan wasn't even spinning? Dear me, I'm surprised your laptop didn't melt.

You really are lucky that you didn't do any permanent damage to your laptop, but congratulations on being able to solve it you self
