And when you look at what an object oriented language is, then C++ is "more" object oriented than Java/C#.
Should I recommend a "pure" object oriented language to the poor guy?? course I think that would just be mean...

C++ is more of object-oriented thrown in as an afterthought, and it doesn't even function very well.

True, true, so lets end this here, since I don't think it will help crasybunny to know the difference between pure object oriented and C++, java, C#, and some of the other supposedly object oriented languages out there.

c++ ain't that hard, you'll just have to memorize the basic commands such as #include stdafx, #include "iostream", cin>>, cout<<, system ("cls"), break;, return 0 and so on...
to tell you the truth you're pretty lucky to start your class using c++ 'cuz I started mine studying "Turbo C" w/c is pretty damn harder than c++ and i'm in 2nd year... you can't copy& paste on TC, but you can in c++.

I you want to really want to learn how to program use TC ^^

well, you CAN copy&paste but I really don't recommend doing that if you don't know the commands VERY WELL especially if your work is long, there's a chance that the part you copied will get scrambled... and you have to search, debbug or even restart it and all programmers know that debugging is the most tedious part in programming...

The same could be said for any programming language.

And I have seen some of Hibias post, and they are not 'evil', they are much worse... they are completely honest! which I do find a bit cruel in some cases, given the poor tech understanding some of the threat authors obviously have.

I wish I could be like Hibias when people around me continue to think "CS major = Windows tech support" >_<
