I'll start it off. In my town we have the "Christmas Swim", swimming in already cold water that's even more fucking freezing in winter on the 25th December.

lol coventry is completell sane we have no crazy traditions...i don't think we do at leastAt least it's not a small village, there's something sinister about them, not to mention the morris dancing. Plenty of those types of villages near me. Or even the whole county of Midsummer.

ever heard people cutting their tongue but there's no single wound or even mark on it? my country people usually do that in certain event. they gain immunity from any damage by using shamanic method. in indonesian it called "Debus".

the "craziest" thing i can think of is that in mid february people run around throwing waterballoons at each other...then again its summer in the southern hemisphere...and i havent been there quite a while, but i always liked singling out the girls dressed in white.
