I've gone down on girls before, in fact I do so almost every time I have sex. But as was said by everyone else, it has to be clean, as in, not neglected by hot water and possibly soap over a long period.

I also prefer if the girl is shaven completely, but a little hair is okay too.

I personally have no problem with going down, especially if it's the girl I'd love and will spend valuable time with. Loving her every inch seems only fair for she will probably return the favour. Of course, it shouldn't reek and I shouldn't have to navigate through a jungle to find my treasure, I get lost easily.


On a side note + fact of the day. Sweat is odourless. Sweat fuels bacteria to make smelly compounds. Therefore odours are caused by bacteria. Bacteria collect/multiplies on surfaces. Where on our bodies do we have high surface area compared to volume. Hair. Hair + Time = smelly. Plus jungling dulls sensations and the overall experience for both. Props to the topic starter. Going down on women can be scarily disgusting or amazingly enjoyable, depending on when it's done. In my book, there is no oral during or about 4-5 days after she's on her period. I thought I could do it once, no. But other than that, if you can learn to do it right (and there are methods, it's not just licking frantically), then you are on your way to becoming a Sex Master. I personally enjoy going down on my gf. It elongates the sexual experience, and usually by the time I'm done, she's more than ready to go. So go for it, but be careful.

Aye, they used to teach us that on our once-a-year sex class in school. It really seems awkward to use it though, since you have to hold the thing with both hands.

Does any of you actually perform protected oral sex?

edit: I personally do not take these safe measures. I find em to be a pain in the arsehole when I want to go down on her. And I sincerely can't imagine what it's like to do it protected.

Well in my opinion, I wouldn't take these measures. After all it's an enormous bother as it takes most of the sensation away, let alone bringing it up without your partner taking any sort of offence.

When performing these sort of things I'm going with assumption that my sex partner is taking proper care of herself, if not well finding out isn't too hard since I'll have my face directly near it. I can understand protective measures with penetration since (at the first time) blood will be involved, and to me that's the most direct measure to getting infected. I'd honestly take the risk of performing unprotected oral sex, if I would end up getting something from doing that then I would've gotten it anyway from being with that partner.

I just think it's an idea that just really doesn't translate well in the field.

Personally, I'd never engage in any sexual activity with a partner whose STI status is unknown to me in the first place.
Since we've always been aware of each other being 100% clean when it comes to STIs in our relationship, I conversely never felt the need to use protection during oral sex and ruin it for her.
