I've neglected this thread. I thought I could add the bootlegger-exclusive's perspective on things at the moment. There's quite a bit to learn with this route, but I'm finding solutions.
First, the ADP cover of Nymph finally came. It was just as good quality as HobbyHeart. She's just adorable, and she's always been one of my favorite characters anywhere. It doesn't make up for the horrifying lack of customer service or disregard for customer relations that ADP has, though, which is why I actually added them to a major reseller ratings list (it wasn't listed previously until I submitted a request to have it listed) and then wrote a scathing review of them.
I've come to like HH. They're fast to respond and are much more polite than ADP, who treats their customers like a nuisance. It reminds me of a running joke with my job since I work in a hospital as a network administrator, which says that if it weren't for the clients on the network, the job would be perfect.
Here's something important: While 60" pillows with any half-decent stuffing are very difficult to come by,
LNT has an excellent 60" pillow that is really something else--far better than pretty much anything I've come across, at least in theory, since I ordered one and it has not arrived yet. Something to keep in mind. If you want just one good pillow for your Daki of choice as a sleep aid for the night, I think that's a good fit.
This has to be said, by the way:
Shower before you plan to cuddle and sleep. Seriously. It doesn't matter what you did during the day, you're covered in whatever environment you spent it in, and it *will* rub off. You'll start to notice after a while.
Anyway, I'm enjoying my collection tremendously. I've found that I like to make a U on my bed: One on each side, one behind. My previous peachskin ones are fine for this, since they're only for decoration in this case. 2WT retains heat far better than peachskin, so they make much better cuddling pillows. Nymph and the Atelier ones are still my favorites.
I'm also developing a business relationship with a friend of mine so I can sell some of the ones I don't mind separating with. I told him I'd give him one free out of my lineup (sort of as a 30-day trial) and he could decide whether or not he liked it. Afterward, I'll charge for one and throw in another as a bonus. After that, I'll do small bulk discounts. (part of my strategy as a seller is getting people involved in the first place through a loss, after which they're way, way more likely to continue buying and make up more than enough for it, which is why initial "free trials" are so important--thanks for suggesting this tip to me, Amazon Prime and Netflix). This is kind of important, as I just spent $300 on my dad's Xmas gift and need to earn it back.
