I like them well enough, but I bought so many because I got them from YJA. And I don't know how long they've been around for, but they already have a fairly decent amount of covers to their name. I figured that for the price of 1-2 standard covers, I could have 8 of fairly good quality, if not the best. I was really pleased with their Erio; it's a surprisingly good cover, though they did screw up the toes a bit.
Of course, it didn't work out that well in practice; I figured that I'd save some money with all the combined shipping for ordering them at the same time, but nope. Not only was internal shipping fairly expensive, but the package was too big for batch shipping... so they stored in Japan and I paid for EMS from Japan to my house.
Generally speaking though, that's the route that's taken. For orders that are eligible for batch shipping, "internal" shipping covers Seller -> Japan -> Warehouse, and for the average dakimakura cover it's usually 800-1500 yen depending on the seller and I guess some other factors. Then I usually wait until I have some items near the 90 day storage cap, and then I request one big batch shipping order to my house.
Doesn't storing at the warehouse instead of shipping directly from Japan incur more costs?
I have my stuff stored at Japan then shipped directly to me.
Must be nice to have the US dollar at your disposal. I have almost 30% less buying power but I've bought as much stuff as you.>_<
Talk about suicidal tendencies.
