My close friends' band has finally finished their 5 song EP and it's fucking great. So I thought you guys at Fakku might want to have a listen.

Of course since it's myspace, the quality of the songs goes down a bit... well a lot. With a good system the actual songs sound amazing. I might be able to convince them to let me upload the songs if you guys like it.
I have a part in the first song at 2:40, so listen for it :D.

Thank God for lyrics, otherwise I can't hear what they're saying xD It's a pretty noisy band... not bad... but nothing I've never heard before. Pretty good! Guitar's pretty awesome though :D

Music: I like the pace and well, the whole thing I like.
Vocals: Oh god! Someone is skinning a bag full of cats. This makes The Konks sound in tune. Whoever the vocals are smack that terrible sound out of their mouths.
Verdict; Keeps the instruments but, find a new singer. Preferably one that doesn't sound like a cat in heat.

I think the music does sound pretty nice.
The voice(s) may not seem so pleasant or understandable to some, but since it's punk/thrash music, I can understand why it is that way. They're not bad in my opinion. Maybe, if they're lucky or not even lucky but take the right paths, their music will lead them somewhere good.
Ah.. but the chances of making it in the music industry seem slim.

Pretty much agree with this.
The music is solid, but even for the type of music, the vocals are sortof annoying. Which I wouldn't guess is the point, because the music sounds too organized for it to be noise for the sake of noise. Still, pretty good stuff.

My complaint is I listen to punk (NoFX, Reagan Youth, The Briggs, The descendants, Left over Crack, etc). These vocals are horrid. I would love just instrumental version of their music.

Hmm yeah, maybe they are. I guess it was maybe the song that I listened to (the third I believe...) or just a different taste that I have, that made me see them as alright.[/h]

I fucking love the guitars in these songs T_T
As for the vocals, I don't think that they are that bad. I know what direction the lead is trying to go with his sound, but I do hear some dissonance with the backup singing at times.
Final verdict: I really liked it.

I could see why you guys don't like the vocals, but I listen to a lot of music like this and I think they fucking rule. Everyone's got their own tastes of course.
@HentaiElder: They're not trying to hit it really big off this 5 song EP haha. We listen to a lot of underground, not really big, bands and we go see shows all the time. They want to create a big enough fan base around the East Coast at least to play some shows. And I know they can do it.
@Fiery_penguin_of_doom: Damn you're ruthless haha. But if you don't like it, you don't like it. Do you like Dillinger Four? They recently came out with a new album that is fucking sick. They also played with NoFX recently but I didn't buy a ticket fast enough and it sold out. My friends went though and they said it was awesome.

Nice but unfortunatly I don´t like the lyrics that much.
The parts without the lyrics are totally cool, but the whole yelling part kind of destroys the songs for me.
But Still I can think back to a time where I playes amped 1 on xbox which also had music out of this kind of genre.
Maybe the will make it into a coming burnout soundtrack or something smaller game with a good managment, would be a great success.

from a musician's point of view: perfect for a band of their genre. only a few flaws that I could be a dick and point out, but I'm not.
from a listener's point of view: the vocalist is a little too whiny, the drums could be less repetitive. the guitars are possibly it's only saving grace, but even they can be a bit repetitive, but it's in tolerable levels.
all in all I think I like these guys, and I think that they have potential

I actually never heard of them but, they sound good. The album cover for Civil was is covered with awesome and win. Though the "christian rap" label is a little disturbing. Overall, I will probably grab an album when I can.
Also I'm sorry, I probably was a little harsh but, it was a knee jerk reaction. I'm sure they make up for it in the live show.
