Do you play video games?

Ever days and night is video game time ! is a part of life that u dont part while i live in the action area i tend to wonder off to the rpg kingdom too... :)

if they actually provide you with some meaningful knowledge, then i would've played more.

but they just waste too much time in my life, besides i've got others things like actually getting into a university and get a good job after that to worry about, so...

i'm a big fan of it, of course, but *long sigh*

Have you played Viking: Battle for Asgard? Its not that long, but it kicks so much ass. I fucking love it so much. I just hate that PS3 games cost so much. I really want to play Lair and a shitload of other games, but like I said, prices are fucking ridiculous.

you got a point nate, but i think you just havent engaged yourself in a well enough game yet. video games arent just about interaction, they teach lessons and trick your mind with philisophical possibilities and story twists. a good game isnt just there to play, its there to expand your mind of the (most likely)fictional. your right, its a hell of a waste of time when you look at the bigger picture... but i dont intend to be anything too special. the rewards just aint worth it, billions have tried and died unfulfilled lives.

ironically if i ever do wanna do something more with my life im looking into video game development, coding and level structure and all that. im a gamer at heart and would like to think i always will be, and if anyone has ps3 add me on psn! my usernames spokey_dokey

No but i'm going to try it now, thanks. I played lair and the story was pretty good but it relied far too much on the 6axis control which pissed me off at times because it was slightly unreliable for example: I would move to the right and the thing didn't respond quick enough my shit would get pushed in by everything... I like games that give me the option to use it but don't require it.

you know that they have a download available for lair on the playstation store right? it enables the use of the joysticks for lair and its free to boot. its a much more fulfilling experience when your able to CONTROL the dragon, but it still gets mucho repetitive mucho fast.

Meh, I beat the game with the 6axis... I just didn't love having to repeat certain levels because of how frustrating it was... I beat most games before i have to return them; 5 days is a long time...

and most games dont have the replay value or length in them to extend past a rent. ive purchased alot more games then ive had to in the past year thanks to next gen, but most of them i can say have an extended value past a single run through of the game.

all great examples of games that have more value then most. they each provide a little commitment to get really good, and they all have online capabilities... if you like how a game runs online thats countless extra hours on a single title.

not such a good choice... they all have sweet ass single player modes, but for the most part the online gargles serious balls. they have a bit of replay value, but it really comes down to unlockable extras, difficulty settings and online support.

Assassin's creed... ridiculously awesome concept and quite fun at times but the limited play makes it a dead end game; Although i will be purchasing anything else they release as I love history I did need a few week to beat it; I needed to time recover from boredom.

I play Assassin's Creed now to mostly just do some freerunning (Like I'm ever going to be able to do it in real life -_-') and some good ol' fashion huge guard brawls.

I'm also trying to get every fucking flag in the game, as well as kill every Templar. It's taking some time.

From what I see, pretty much the majority of FAKKUers are gamers...

For the most part people into anime are usually into some form of video games, whether it be casual or not. That's just how "otaku" are, I guess.

YES! Elder Scrolls. Oblivion and the expansion which I beat recently, Halo 3, GTA IV, Assassins Creed(meh got boring after awhile) COD4. Battle Field Bad Company!!

Its also one of those stress/anger relieving games, especially after you beat the game. When you're having a bullshit day, there's nothing more satisfying than slaughtering countless people.

i luv platformers, action, adventue, roleplaying, racing, fighting(soulcalibur series) MMO`S but theres a downfall 2 liking these genres, im blak & most of my friends r blak, but most blak pple who play vidgames r so small minded that we only play sports games (which im not 2 fond of), and racing games, so usually i end up playing gears of war halo by myself, until our routers fixd

I liked the ending just fine. especially with all the cool hidden stuff.

i'd prefer Love Simulation games like Tokimeki Memorial,True Love,etc.

I'll be playing the hell out of W.A.R. when it comes out. Lately I have been playing:

- Diablo 2 (because Diablo 3 was announced and wanted to catch up)
- Rock Band on the 360. I'm addicted to music/rhythm games.
