I'm merely asking if you drown out the sound of things you know are bad so you don't have to think about it. A good example is here I have a mouse problem but they don't bother me so I don't bother them
[size=10]I've bought those little containers for food so they'll eventually move onto another floor or something since they can't find food.[/h]
and whenever I hear a little ticking that I know is them scampering around I just blast music so I don't have to worry about it.
So yeah how many of you people do stuff like that?
Edit: I deleted some text so the question wasn't as misleading
You seem to be avoiding the problem rather than solving it. However, everyone has their own method of dealing with certain issues, so I am in no position to say whether you are doing it right or wrong.
Curiosity killed the cat, but I hope it does not kill the bear. I have a tendency to investigate every weird and unusual sound that I hear, though most of the time, it turns out to be nothing. Nonetheless, I believe listening is an important skill which could save one's life, all the way from a plea for help to a burglar attempting to enter one's hope.
Or it could be 4chan's party van...
