but, 2007 was the best party the company threw, all employees had access to any rooms in the hotel and could bring any guest, lots of variety of foods* like jumbo shrimps and lobsters* including all the wine you could drink XD!

Certainly had one this year. Work in a restaurant, so food is never an issue, but it's still nothing but idle chatter and mexican karaoke songs. Lasted for one hour this year before I faked an illness and got the hell out of there.

Annual rich Jewish Hospital/research facility on the Eastcost. Rented out exclusive high class hotel lobby, dj, free drinks, high class food. Doctors, nurses, labs techs all dressing slutty and many single and don't want to be on Christmas night alone. You do the "Cheerio" routine in the beginning b/c your bosses are there, then when the drinks and music flows and the older crowd start leaving, then its all good. Too bad I have a wife and I took her to every one...jk

last year was crap, but i work for a new company, and this year rocked!
we went to this underground pub/restrant called the Vaults, all the tables were in alcoves in the walls with curtains drawn over them, it had abit of a burlesque feel to it, was an awesome night.

We had a meal and then went to play bowling, billard and dart.
Afterwards we ewnt over to the discoteque.

Before I was made redundant (3 weeks before Christmas) we couldn't have them due to "health and safety".
All decorations were not to be out up above "neck level due to a risk of stretching"... Thus we all nearly choked on tinsel as it coiled around our throats.

Yep... attended two ones - one at my agency company, and another one at the corporation that my agency assigned me to.
Neither one was crappy this time (last year my agency's party sucked bigtime), both were superb, and whoppee, I won some nifty raffle prizes on both.
