does your significant other know about your hentai habit?

First off, I usually a lurker, but I decided to be posting member for various reasons. So my question is does your significant other know about your hentai habit? and if they do what do they think?

Give me the details, like if you share a computer or have physical books, how do you hide it. When do you view or watch it? (1 o clock in the morning for me lol), or does he or she don't care?

Solution: Dump your "significant other".

Reward: Watch anime and hentai whenever you want.

I'm getting the gut feeling that my monther knows but is handling it with an eye closed. I mean.... she must be one helluva dense lady if she doesn't notice my stack of ecchi mangas (manhou sensei negima, Girls Bravo, Love hina etc) that's scattered all around my room.

This is basically how my family took it.

Myself: "I'm going to Comiket in A few weeks."

Parent: "What the hell is Comiket?"

Myself: "It's in Tokyo, anime convention, with a bunch of wannabe Pedophiles, freaks of nature, and /b/tards hanging around."

Parent: "Why would you want to hang around with those kinds of people?"

Myself: "I can get a few credits to my graduation if I go, so I figured it'd be worth it.(Blatant lie)"

So, anyways, after I said that he let me go. Shit was cash. Comiket was fucking awesome by the way. I got lost at one point, but I managed to meet up with a bunch of random english lolicons, one of which spoke Japanese pretty fluently.

Needless to say I got a few free loli doujins.

My wife knows about it, she says I'm weird. Even my daughter knows and she keeps calling me a pervert. Waaaaaa

I suspect they know but they don't mind, whatever I do on my computer (as long as it isn't like criminal activities) is my business.

I watch hentai almost at anytime when i just somehow fall into a position where i start to watch it.

She knows. And she doesn't mind at all. Also, I introduced her to doujins.

She knows, but she doesn't mind as long as I keep it at a healthy level (her euphemism for "keep reality in check"). She loves yaoi anyway.

My wife says that hentai is for the sexually deviant lol. She classifies my general porn habit as "what all guys do," and leaves it at that, but I don't think he can stomach some of the stuff I have on my hard drive lol. You have to admit the best hentai aren't "conventional" (bible black so on), so I try to keep it away from her.

So here is my follow up question. Hentai for me is something I can't resist, it is an outgrowth of watching anime and being attracted to the women depicted. So if you could wish you didn't have to have this fetish or personal preference, would you do away with your hentai preference given the social stigma attached to it by mainstream society? From friends who tease you about, your friends, family, etc etc

It is a legit question and the answer will tell me a lot of the Fakku's community. So answer honestly. If your friends, family don't care or if they are supportive then tell me how you convinced them or were they just understanding, or are they just apathetic about it? I understand, everybody has unique stories and situations about our common interests so tell me the details :-)

Hmm...right now I'm single so...well.

But when I was with my ex...she knew about it. It's not like I'm telling her about it...and I'm not in any way trying to hide it either. It's just that she discovered it when I lent her my laptop...at first she's kinda shocked but she accepted it...so it was all well.

Uh yeah. We both actually enjoy hentai so that kinda works out.
