There must be some point in time that all of us have paid for a purchase with cash. Have you ever been issued excess change? If so, do you return the excess amount to the cashier, or do you keep it?
It depends on my mood, and the cashier's act. If I'm on a bad mood, and the cashier just makes it worse, heck, I'll just leave the store like nothing happens.

Apart from the above question, if you discovered that you have been short-changed, do you demand your rightful amount back, regardless of whether the sum is large or small?
I demand the money back, it's human nature to be greedy. But not so much, lets just say it's only 1 to 5 cents short-changed. I'll let that slide and consider it as nothing.

Lastly, I am sure some of us have worked as a cashier either in part-time or full-time jobs. For customers who return the excess change, how do you feel about their actions? Do you feel grateful? There will be others who might describe the customer as "stupid", because if their roles were reversed, the "cashier" may have kept the money for himself/herself.
I've ever worked part time as cashier in a convenient store. I've rarely, no... Even never return excess change. But in my opinion, if they return it, there may be two possibilities.
1. They're an honest person at least to that extent.
2. The cashier have nice personalities such as. Because of that customers doesn't have any vendetta againts the cashier.
