Elders?

We should have a private section for Elders like VIP sections in forums
It can be like a §ecret Hideout 8)

Yes this idea would put a little division in the community; however, it'll also encourage users to post more topics and share information more to become an elder, but this is merely a poll to see what users think & feel relating to this topic.

i don't like any idea which further segments this community, imo.

I feel like they deserve something special so maybe.

You do know you are not really an elder, right? You just have a glitchy post count. Plus to.hell.with.you makes a good point, sounds like a source of more controversy. ...Why did you make this topic twice?

There will always be spam in all forums... Ive never been to a forum without spam.

Users would receive a warning for spamming, then post/topic/rep reset, then if they still keep spamming, might as well ban the user.

Honestly who really cares about Elite or Elder status. It's just a nice title to have that's it.

and what's the function of titles anyway, by becoming an elder, it won't automatically make people respect you, there's a member with less than 200 post but have much reps compared to an elder

and reps too, it also won't make you respected, if you want to be respected, start contributing to the forums

You're all damn hyped up about having those and often rushed to earn them. Very few users out there who just happened to bump into a title stating their mind 3 times a day.
Now don't go all mad on me. Probably spammed plenty of random shit myself (especially when I was getting close to 500). It's just that this is hypocrisy of a sorts. Rbz created a topic to celebrate becoming an elder and good for him ! Gonna go weeeeeeee myself when I get there.

Hold off to that idea for now. Wait until I become an Elder myself and we'll talk about the details. :wink:
