err...umm...Minutes to Midnight [LP]

i know its kinda late but i just download the whole album not long ago :roll:

actually i want to buy the album (since i'm a big LP fan) but my friend advice my not to buy the album...he told me i should download the album first then decide i wanna buy it or not later...

after i've listen the whole album...i'm shocked...WTF!!! this in not the LP i know...then after forcing myself to listen all those crap 3 times and i still don't like it *deleting M2M*

wow this is like the biggest disappointment of the year...WTF!!!
i've waited 4 years for this new album (not counting the LPJZ MTV MASH UP)...yet what i get is an album loaded with 12 tracks of pure crap :x

what the disturbed me the most are no more trademark rap and scratch form Shinoda & Han, the band logo had also changed (unacceptable :x ), and the "growing up and all the world's issue" excuses by fans who just can accept the fact that their beloved band had betrayed them...they said that the band evolving but for me its more like devolving :roll:

for me now linkin park is just another rock band :cry:

good lord what happened to them? whats with the sudden change of style,i thought this was gonna be a great album but it was complete and utter shit.I cant belive i wasted 20 bucks on it,i oughta slap every single member of linkin park for betraying its fans and giving us such a sucky album.

well i think i'm gonna quit being a LP fan until their next album...which i hope will be much better then this M2M......HELL!!! THEY BETTER BE!!! :x

No just compare all of their albums to M2M it's way different. I saw a MTV2 interview that they were doing it different, they were on a whole 'nother leve, and it'll be something they've never done before etc. Every member came up with some material and only the best will make it on the album, apparently it seems to be the worst made it.. I think Fort minor [a side project from LP] was way better then this.. psssst

Ive only listen to one song from their new albulm, and I did not like it one bit.
linkin park is what got me into rock and alternative in the first place. Remember "faint"? "numb"? those were some really good songs.
I had 'Meteora' and 'hybrid theory' (have no idea where they are now) and I liked them both, alot but when I heard they were coming out with a new albulm I wasnt very excited and I can see now that my gut feeling was telling me that it was gonna suck

Somenthing similar happen to me, when hybrid theori went out, I said "omg i like this shit" actualy LP was my first favorite band.

Then reanimation... well they go down a little there but I liked the video 3d animated and the remix of that song, then the next one was very good, after that my taste for LP started to dissapear, this last album really suck, I lost every interting I could have for LP. They really got worse and worse. Now I'm the very best fan of metallica, but thats because the old albums of course, also like Soil, static-x, drowning pool. But liking park it's just not a good band anymore, or at least the kind of band I like.

when I first saw the video of "what I've done", I honestly thought it was U2 or something...but it wasn't. It was linking park...another group, like Papa roach, that decided to change their music into something I found to be atrocious. In Papa roach's case, I thought only the first album was good, the second was a one hit wonder with "she loves me not". Linking had 2 great album's...then this shit...wtf...why????

I don't like this album .
It drives me mad,since the Meteora blows up in the music and become famous .
Now,LP is not much more as a low reputation band .

I like LP alot, but i personally think it was Jay-Z that was the real Contributer to LP. Once he left, and they put out M2M, it was just bad news.

Not worth the money spent even if the songs were good as they were. I wanted some more techno-rock, not modern pop.

It stopped being nu metal, therefore it sucked. That said, I didn't mind some of Collision Course, I think it was just a really interesting mix.

I prefer 'meteora' than m2m,since the new songs are sucks .

Each album they released was pretty different from the previous release.

@Tsujoi: I don't think so. I feel that Hybrid Theory and Meteora were very close in the nu-metal/rap/techno/rock genre. Minutes to Midnight just went and did a 360. (Reanimation and Collision Course are remix albums, so I'm not counting that in my comparison.)
