Stairs where possible, escalator where not.
Never use the stairs in my flat though, i mean, 13 high is abit much.

I prefer stairs as much as possible over escalators. It's quicker (for me, I tend to climb stairs quickly) and gives your body some exercise, unlike escalators.

I find it hard to believe more users on Fakku take the stairs than an escalator. :?
Not that I assume everyone is a lazy bastard (like myself) but I dunno, not that many people take stairs anymore.
Though I do walk up the escalators, sometimes. Depends if I'm wanting to go in and out of somewhere faster

I probably would, but I'm never in a situation where escalators are present. My city is only like 50,000 so there is no place big enough to warrant an escalator. No airports, no +2 story malls, no big government buildings, etc...

the only advantage escalators have over stairs is that it's funnier falling down up escalators than stairs.

I use the stairs, the escalators annoy me because I hate just standing there, waiting. Even on the rare times I use escalators, I still end up walking up on them anyway.
