Fakku club on MAL

I've been thinking of bringing this up for a while, but never thought it really warranted being mentioned, but partly out of boredom and partly out of curiosity why not have a Fakku club/group on Myanimelist?

Kinda seems a bit more fitting than a Facebook group (aside from the fact that Facebook has a number advantage, obviously) and I always thought it would be interesting to have a bunch of the Fakku members who also have MAL accounts together to talk about anime aside from on Fakku all the time.

Granted I know the staff are already busy enough taking care of the site as it is, but anyone could create and maintain a Fakku group on MAL if Jacob or anyone else would approve of it.

Anyway, I don't know. Just thought I'd throw that out there randomly. *shrugs*

I dont use MAL so correct me if im wrong but isnt this the same as CR and IRC but with the specific topic being about anime.

Also wheres my anime viewing night fakku we need a date where we all get together and be weeaboos for one night.

It would essentially be the same as the Fakku group on Facebook, but on Myanimelist, which is obviously dedicated to anime and manga as opposed to general social networks like Facebook.

I know it seems a bit redundant compared to what we already have, but it is just a thought I decided I would finally share.

No. MAL is full of fucking assholes, even worse than some of the fine folk we have here. MAL puts Fakku's assholes to shame.

Could always make it a private club that requires the creator, or other staff, to approve the member by finding out if they are from Fakku or not. Don't have to let some of the random MAL assholes into the group. <.<

I had thought about creating it myself, but I don't feel right doing it without Jacob, Nikon or Raze's permission. Suppose I could PM Jacob about it.

agreed. i only started using MAL like 3-4 months ago. but i'll join.

Well I sent a message to Jacob about it. Go figure Nikon would be the one to come online though. XD

I use MAL to keep track of manga and anime I'm currently watching. Haven't bothered inputting all the anime I've seen - way too time consuming.

I'll send out invites here in a short time. I went ahead and made it private. I think we all know who are Fakku members, for the most part, so it is just as easy to make it private and have Officers approve user requests.

Okay, everything is up and running smoothly, more or less.

Of course Prowl had to start a Waifu game over there, so hurry up and jump on that. Your chance to claim a waifu in the club that may be taken by someone else here on Fakku. XD

Anyway, as for officers, there is a discussion about it in the club, so don't bother mentioning it in here because I may not end up reading it.

I once went through ALL the anime list to check on every anime that I have watch and completed. (except the H-anime)
