Note that we try to remain gender neutral here. Note also that some old chestnuts are just tied to gender, and wouldn't be what they are without the gender attached.


General
Sip when:
-someone requests a sequel. (The GHOE Effect)
--if another commenter notes the first always wants one
-- chug if the horror of sequelitis is mentioned.
--- drain your drink if someone either mentions Sequelitis Anonymous or pleas for help for those suffering the dread affliction.
--- Chug if a tank is called for.
- Every time someone mentions the goddess of sequels (once per mention)
-someone starts making up a future for the MCs. Sip again for each reply that extends the story
-the commenting system hasn't caught up with the actual scores, leaving a +1 as the initial comment when higher scores are below it
- the top comment has more than +10 upvotes
-- Chug if it's over 25
--- Drain your drink if it's over 30.
---- stop drinking if you just made the over 9000 joke.
- a comment is negative voted; one sip for each -1 in the score; if the comment is at -4, take four sips. (The Negative Gravity Rule)
- a staffer comments
-- Chug if one staffer replies to another
- someone states 'And that's how I met your mother/ father" OR they post a dialogue with a couple's future child asking how mommy and daddy met.
- someone states they couldn't fap due to feels.
-- Again if someone counters they could.
--- Chug if someone cites the feels as why they fapped.
- the commenter notes the story is not their prefered genre without additional commentary
-- Chug if the comment hasn't been downvoted below zero.
--- Chug if the poster instead explains well why the current work is a exception, or why it's an example of why they don't like the genre. Drain your drink if you disagree but respect the way they said it.
- Chug if someone complains about the story based on genre/ fetish, ie 'it sucks cause netorare/ vanilla/ incest'.
-- Refill your drink and take the required sips if the comment has been downvoted.
--- chug if a reply comment is a rebuttal and take the required sips if it has been downvoted too.
---- if there's a third level of replies, drain your drink, refill, and move on to the next comment thread on the story.
- a twist in the plot is noted
-- Chug if it's spoiled outright
- someone notes a fetish served by the story in question.
-- Sip again for each additional fetish.
--- Chug if it's more than four.
---- Drain your drink if the story isn't tagged for the fetish.
- sip if a commenter says a fetish is new to them
-- chug if they claim the story gave them a fetish.
- commenter says they thought it was a hot girl/guy but can't fap because of x (chug if x is the classic "it was an old/fat guy")
- commenter says they want to kill one of the characters or wishes death upon them
-- chug if it's for genre/ fetish appropriate actions, ie the stealer in a netorare, the forcer in a forced story, and so on.
- a creator posts
-- take another if it's a reply to one of the replies to their comment
-- Chug if it's in a comment thread the creator didn't start
- a comment argues a tag doesn't apply/ a tag is missing
-- Chug if the staff act on it.
--- take a follow up sip if they've thanked.
- a comment compares the story to an event in the commentors real life.
-- Chug if they give details either in the initial comment or when requested.
-- drain it if they're a big tease and don't reply to requests for details (the 'GuiltyinBeddie' rule.)
- set down your drink and skip the next five rules 'hits' if someone references the drinking game (the metabreak rule)
- someone decides to use the Horatio Ascii art to (†¢_†¢)( †¢_†¢) ⌐■-â– (⌐■_â– ) lampshade a pun.
-- chug if someone obligies them with a 'YEAH!'
- someone links to an image/ video as their comment.
- someone makes mention of insulin shots, or anything sugar related in Vanilla (Papa Nito's law.)
-- chug if there's a 'heart attack' or other 'life threatening' reaction.
- drain your drink if a comment thread becomes a story between two or more readers.
- for each comment a reader splits a single lengthy response into.
-- drain your drink if you TL,DR it.

Chug for each negative comment on a Netorare.
1 additional sip for every downvote on the page (ex, -4 downvotes yields 4 sips. Plus and neutral vote comments don't count, there has to be a grey number)
