Sooooo apparently this is a thing that's happening... Didn't see it being discussed in any other forum threads, so any guess when we'll hear more news on this?
Or more likely HH & Fakku were already planning a merge behind the scenes and HH pretended to go down so that it wouldn't receive as large a backlash for suddenly paywalling content.
I know we all been members of fakku when it was free. But I enjoy the way fakku has went. I own 95% of thier book releases. So maybe HH goes the same way. But i stopped watched hentai videos when I joined fakku.
I guess I’ve always been okay with a paywall. The content creators work hard and this allows them to be paid. It also allows quality content and multiple ways to read it without having to go through shady or shabby sites.
HentaiHaven hasn't had consistent uploads for quite some time now. Honestly I felt like it was on its way out.
Fakku has been dipping its toes into H-anime lately, so snapping up a name that's been around for a while and everyone has probably heard of is a convenient solution to being taken more seriously. Partnering with Fakku means HentaiHaven keeps on trucking, and F! has a hand in the honeypot. It benefits both parties.
Interesting I must say. Having possibly uncensored work out fast? I'll take it. Plus it gives the HH people legit work and also gives the studio who make the videos some money to make more.
I use another site for my ero anime dark siding, so if Fakku can resurrect HH as a legit paid service I'd be down. That is assuming they can bring UNCENSORED newer ero anime titles in a simulcast type fashion.
The Fakku and Kitty Media deal has worked out well thus far, with the latter bringing newer stuff uncensored to Blu-ray of late. So, I can see this working out quite well with the right team behind it and the right acquisitions.
