Fantasy Football

Who else is doing it. I was kinda forced into it. I wan't able to be online for the live draft, so I'm barely gonna find out who I got. Here's to getting my Chargers.

The first rule of fantasy football is to get good RBs. So going by that, you're kind of screwed. The logic is that RBs are the most heavily used skill position(IE non QBs), but also that the drop off between a good RB and an ok RB is much steeper than the drop off for QBs, which is why most people pick good RBs in the high rounds. I would go for Adrian Peterson as #1 overall myself.

Also, not so sure about Chambers as a second round pick. There had to have been some better WR or RB available. Chambers is a decent fantasy receiver, but not an elite one, unless Rivers for some reason decides to start using him much more heavily than Gates and V. Jackson, which I don't think will happen. I'd take Fitz, Randy Moss, TO, Andre Johnson, Steve Smith, Anquan Boldin, Calvin Johnson, Santana Moss, Reggie Wayne, Roy Williams, probably Hines Ward, and well you get the idea.

I think your best hope is probably just to hope Manning goes crazy like the year he broke Marino's record. Also, you should drop Kevin Walters and see if you can find some good rookie RB that no one drafted who has a good chance to play this season, like Jonathon Stewart or Tim Hightower last year. Kaeding and Steelers D are good for those positions.

If you have more than 10 roster spots, also probably worth it to pick up a backup QB. Manning has a bye at some point.

If you are going for "get as many Chargers as possible cause I love the Chargers," well, that's usually not the best fantasy strategy for maximizing your winning chances, but it's fun cause when your team does well you do, and I can totally respect that.

I need to get moving on my own fantasy league. I'll post my draft results when I get that done.

I know. I messed up. The picks I listed were the chargers and I was suppose to make my choices in the live draft but slept through it. It ain't so bad though, Chambers gave me some really good points last time.
