Fav anime OP and ED songs

Definitely most of the OPs and EDs in Gundam SEED and SEED Destiny. "Anna ni Issho Datta no ni", and "Reason" in particular.

Both the songs from Gundam 00 are crazy rockin. Deathnote has some great songs! Love Nightmare, but Maximum the Hormone has gotta be one of the sweetest jbands ever ^_^

Both seasons of GITS had incredible openings. And then songs like "Duvet" from Lain and "Light before we land" from Gunslinger girl I love too...

And for pure win you can't beat the GTO theme ^___^

I could go on naming forever really. I love music.

I don't think I have a favorite, but here are some of the ones that I like off the top of my head.

My favorite OP has to be the Sailor Moon english OP because i went to HS with the girls who sang it.

As for the my favorite ED, i would have to say it would have to be Analog Fish, "Speed" from Naruto.

I'm surprised with all the UVERworld songs people have mentioned, "Colors of the Heart" the 2nd Blood+ OP hasn't been mentioned. That's on the top of my list.

My all time favorite is, Mikio Sakai - Tabidachi no Kane ga Naru (s-CRY-ed ED for last episode). If you haven't heard it, its totally worth downloading, even paying for if you have to.

* CHANCE! was used as the opening in the game Bleach: Heat the Soul 2.
* Colors of the Heart was used as the 3rd opening for the anime Blood+.
* SHAMROCK was used as the ending theme for the Japanese Drama; Dance☆Drill.
* Kimi no Suki na Uta was used as the theme song for the show; Koi Suru Hanikami!
* endscape was used as the 1st opening for the anime Terra He "Toward the Terra."
* Ukiyo Crossing was used as the theme song for the Japanese Drama; Hataraki Man

I have all the singles except "endscape" and "Ukiyo Crossing"

"Sora Iro Days" is as epic as its' series (Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann for those who're missing out), and "Give A Reason", the Slayers NEXT OP, is pretty good. Same goes for "I Say Yes" from Zero no Tsukaima season 2.

Yay, someone else has seen Goshuushou-sama Ninomiya-kun as well! The OP and ED are good, but only if you like upbeat music. The anime is kinda like brainless fanservice, so watch it if you feel like brainless fanservice.

Rie fu
Most stuff by Nana Kitade
Younha (though I did get kind of sick of Houkiboshi)
L'Arc en Ciel - "Ready Steady Go" and "Niji" (if you include anime movies)
BoA - "Someday Somewhere" (It's so hard to find a good translation of it)
Aya Hirano (just because of "God Knows...", it's an awesome song)
surface - "Yume no Tsuzuki he" (haven't heard too much from this band, but this song is great)
Rie Tanaka (the songs from Chobits are the best)
Cheiko Kawabe - "Be Your Girl"

And anything by UVERworld. Seriously, anything. One of the best bands in my book so far. And of course, I always have to say, when recommending music, Ayumi Hamasaki. She's done a song or two for anime, don't remember which, but she's one of the best J-Pop stars there are. Go listen to Ayumi Hamasaki and UVERworld, NOW!
