Favorite Japanese Artist Or Band

#1: The Mad Capsule Markets.
Amazing band! I've been listen to them for years. :)

#2: The Pillows.
They did the music for FLCL, one of my favourite animes.

#3: Penpals.
They made the Berserk intro theme, and are therefore BADASS.

There is also a lot of good Japanese trip hop and hip hop artists, although I don't remember names right now.

I used to listen to J-rock when I was in middle school Nowadays, I love jazz fusion bands, especially T-Square, Casiopea and Dimension. Links below!

I know very few japanese artists but there's one that's easily among my favorites, not only regarding japanese music, and it's an indie rock band called "the band apart". They mix several styles but mainly alt. rock/funk.

I'd have to say Headphone Children. That or maybe Kizuna Song. They just sound right to me. Makes me remember the good ol' days.
