Flash apps on linux

I know I'm kind've alone as a linux user, but I thought I'd toss this out anyway:
I've found that many of the games uploaded in the "flash" section are written as an ".exe"
Is there a way to get past the language barrier, or convert the installation file (the second sounds pretty goddamn impossible, but I'm not overly experienced)
