Foreigners...

This is a question for people who live in Asia. What is your opinion of foreigners in your country? Is there anything infamous/famous that happened recently that involved foreigners and someone from your country? Example : Some overseas soldiers raped a woman. Something across those lines.

Well when I WAS living in Asia I had some pretentious white boys come up to me on the street who asked me to do some kung-fu for them.

Not to be racist or anything but Singapore really loves to make a big deal outta anything when it comes to foreigners.

I remmebered reading the news and the front page was a about a western dude found begging on the streets. It was disturbing for me. Because the ideology of the company that thought of having foreigner + begging = frontpage worthy really made me feel shameful as a S'porean.

IT'S REALLY HARD TO TELL WHO IS A FOREIGNER WHERE I'M FROM. EVERYONE HAS WACKY HAIR OF EVERY COLOR IMAGINABLE, IT'S LIKE TRIPPING BALLS WHEN YOU GO OUT INTO A CROWDED PLACE.

yeah...so many foreigners come to my country looking for jobs here...until there are too many of foreigners here and i feels like i am not in my country anymore...worse, some of them making crimes like robbery and i'm also one of their victims...:(

well...when i'm still in indonesia,there were several cases like foreigner came to bali not just to layin around the beach,they were raping little kids that plays around the beach.

it's been so long but i think it happened around 2 years ago.

Well... yep, those are fucking moronic foreigners.

I don't see much foreigners in RP. If I did, either they are American soldiers (training our soldiers), tourists, investing businessmen, or Mormon missionaries. But mostly tourists.

On terms of incidents, let's see... in Olongapo City, particularly Subic, it's common fare to see drunk foreigners trashing out bars. In some tourist hot spots with an active night party life such as Boracay, some women complain that when some of the male foreigners get drunk they go randomly groping female butts and breasts (my cousin also was a victim of a randomly groping drunk Italian). And we had a sensational case a few years ago about some drunk bitch who got raped by three American servicemen.

I live in my own little world. Everyone is a foreigner.
