full color doujins

So I've been mulling around with the idea of working a plain black and white manga to a full color edition. Any suggestions as to one that would not be too difficult for me to work with? (Sorry if this is in the wrong section I'm a first timer and it it is than I will move it quickly.)

Take for example this frame of Slut Girl that I had colorized

find one that had little or no screen tone.

Ah, I see what you're saying. Less particulate in the final B/W scan. Any suggestions as to a manga that has that look and feel?

A solution to the screentone problem, which will cause your colors to be "muddy" or gray is to use a colorize layer over the bw line.

here is a solution using photoshop layers:

open you file.
under "image" on the application bar, choose "mode"
make sure its either "rgb" or "cmyk" this will aslo flatten any layers you have open.
call up a new layer and start painting on it.
then when youre done painting in the layes box change the layer attributes form normal to multiply which works well for backgrounds
or to color dodge which is great for changing a characters dark hair to color.
you can also paint things on diffreent layers and adjust the layer atttribute accordingly.

I usually use a technique of using the original bw copy as a base layer with the properties set to multiply. I color by using other layers under said layer to add the color in sections. 1 layer for hair another for skin tone etc. The advice for the hair is appreciated though I will try that. As for the manga that I will attempt I think I have one in mind now. If I have further problems or anyone would like to contribute other techniques than I will be more than happy to hear them.
