I've had this thing since I was little. I could see into future! Ooooooohhhh!
Okay not like that. They come in the form of dreams. An event will occur in the dream, first person. If I'm lucky, I might wake up remembering the dream. Even then, I'm not good with instantly remembering dreams, so the memory of the dream fades as I do something like eating breakfast or going for a walk.
It may take a month or it may take a year for the dream to eventually come true. Even if I don't remember the dream at the time, it will be like deja vu.
It's a shame I can't use my dreams to find the lottery numbers.
I know some people will say, "Nah, your just doing something you did before or something." But whatever, I know what's happening to me.

I used to get the same, and I used to think I could tell the future, but right now, the difference between you and me is that I'm not going to come to a conclusion until I rule out the experience as just some psychological phenomena involving memory and maybe how it changes over time to give you that feeling of deja vu.

Learned it , got it , can do it , can't control it .........
mostly its like a small part of your dream its hard to make out what it is but it will happen thus it must happen ....

can do it, can't control it as well, its more of a instinctive feeling to me
Difference here is that my "insights" don't appear in dreams, they pop up out of nowhere and sometimes on a closed eye.
Funny thing, I have full control over my dreams and I always remember what happens.

Me too! I've been like that since I was little. But it's quite a fun experience. ^^ Only me and my sister experience odd dreams, but my sis never says anything to me about WHAT she dreams of. I've dreamt both of the future and the past.(With pretty good details I must say) It's really weird but homely. ^^

Dude, before I read this post, I thought I was the only one. I've been having this since I could remember. I was all like, cool but then I just ignored it for sometime. Then it freaked me right the fuck out when I went to this friends house and had a deja vu moment and remembered I had this dream when I was like 6 or 7 or something, and I was there.
I know damn well that I never stepped in that apartment before. I felt like really I was psychic or some shit. But now that I know that other people have this so called premonition, but I kinda have 2 thoughts about this now; either people like us have some sort of brain malfunction like those people who have a lot of deja vu's, but they weren't really. They were just having memory issues,(i forget where i heard this, it was somewhere on tv) or people really can tell the future with there dreams like that one guy(I forget his name but saw a thing about him on the history channel, it was pretty cool.)

I remember I had a friend that when she would dream. Her dreams came true hat was kinda scary. Because I remember her telling me she had this dream that a lady got killed in this hotel room. So a few days later on the news it said there was a lady killed at this hotel I was like 0_0.

It is not a good thing for you true believers when I post in this section. Just yesterday, I was reading a chapter in my psychology book on Memory. About half-way through, I found something very interesting:
Wait, memories are fallible and I was right all along and my skepticism was warranted?
Just because you remember something vividly doesn't mean that that memory is true.

about the fact that I have it .... recently its been annoying whenever I'm asleep it just swallow's me .... instead of dreams I see possibly futures ... and dam it dosnt look good .....

maybe something big is coming ... couse most of mine involve me being in war .... and they always mention a date at the end of the year something in December ....

I've heard of this a lot. I knew several people in high school who said they dreamed the future. I never had a good conversation about the topic, however; a person would just say that they had a dream, and then it'd come true, and that's it. I wish I could get someone with the purported ability to volunteer for an experiment, to get a better idea of what the truth is.
It'd be a simple experiment. Person writes down everything they can remember from their dreams, every morning. If they ever experience something that they think was shown in a dream, we go over the past entries and see if anything similar was recorded. It would take a long time, since it can take a while for people to get good at recalling their dreams, and we'd need to keep the experiment going awhile to get any semblance of truth, to create more possibilities, more chances for the person to be proven right or wrong. And of course we'd have to keep the experiment going a long time to try to make up for the fallibility of memories and the fact that a lot of situations and scenarios are similar. Not something you could do just for a month, if you hope to get any significant results.
Still, if anyone claims to have this ability, it'd be good to keep a dream journal where you record your dreams, every morning. At first, it'll be hard, since most people don't remember a lot from their dreams, but you have to just write down what you can, even if it doesn't make sense. As you keep doing that, you'll start to be able to remember more of your dreams. Such a journal would be good if you ever wanted to see if your dreams yielded any warnings or whatnot, but even if they do not, your dreams can tell you a lot about who you are and what troubles you, pleases you, that sort of thing. Not every dream is important, but some are mirrors that reflect your mind.

the problem is those dreams arnt of the past .... and they all come true .... I'm starting to form a theory about this ....
