I just joined the forum, wanna share this great band Vomitron.

They do great music covers of games like Contra, Castlevania, Zelda, Ninja Gaiden and also their original compositions. Their CD is also just 11$ shipping included! What a steal! I live in Thailand so the shipping costs 3.95$ haha I feelt guilty :cry:
Now I totally sounds like a fanboy but I really want you guys to try! it's hard to comby this kindof band that has skills AND humour, and happens to be game geeks.

If you like metal-ized game music, you should check out Dwelling of the Duels. Go back in the archives and check some of their older shit out. I still have a lot of this stuff on my mp3 player.
Edit: apparently they have a Greatest Picks page up now. Most of the good shit is there. Pay tribute to the gods known as derangen, virt, ashane, ryan8bit, norg, and housethegreat. Their shit is just plain phenomenal.

They don't do game parodies normally, but System Of A Down has made a cover song of Legend of Zelda. A really awesome song ^^

It's not SoaD that plays that song, that's just an urban myth of sort.
I can't remember the real bands name, but it definitely ain't SoaD, even though the singer sound very much alike Serj Tankian.
