get an avatar

People need to set up an avatar for themselves. When I see people on the site without an avatar it annoys me on a deeply personal level.

Well, seeing as I went several months avatarless when I first came here, we must be bitter enemies by now.

Now now, some of them probably don't know how to set it up (Check profile and look for Edit Profile for those that are new and reading this), Or they probably don't have much of an idea what Avatar they want for themselves. (Sometimes its hard to find something that suits one own self.)

As "encouragement" to do so Jacob should make it that while the rest of us still see the image it does right now it should show them something annoying, like a super small set of instructions on how to change their avatar.

I don't mind them at all... well, they are new to the site. as long as they're not causing any commotions, then it's fine with me - avatar or no avatar... at some point, the forums doens't... look good with all the avatar-less members...

hell it bugs me too, but I guess people ether can't decide on one or are too lazy. but at least get a temp until you find one damm! but I agree it kinda does make the forum look bad. but hell can't force people.

For an internet forum your avatar is like your "face" as much as your title is your "name". When someone doesn't have an avatar it gives me the impression that they reject this site enough that they don't want to show their "face".
And I can understand someone not having an avatar if they're new.
But you always see people without an avatar in the request section. Posting request threads that make up the entirety of their contribution to Fakku.

True, true. I go a step farther and keep my avatar as Shinjiro form Persona 3 even if I make some changes to it.

I suppose some users make their avatar representative like I do. And it goes with the name. Tomahome's suit = gentleman, opened = pervert. I hope that many does it so I had an idea who you are.
